That is particularly relevant to cross-border receivables transactions, where financing can depend on cooperation between institutions in the exporter and buyer markets.Unloq’s receivables-finance offering provides funding against eligible purchase orders and outstanding invoices and includes domestic and international factoring for trade in goods and services. Its payables product takes the opposite side of the working-capital cycle, enabling earlier supplier payment while giving buyers greater flexibility over payment timing. The platform is also targeting financing deeper into supply chains. Unloq uses verified trade data, anchor-buyer credit and digital obligation tracking to extend liquidity beyond a buyer’s largest first-tier suppliers, potentially giving smaller upstream businesses access to working capital linked to stronger counterparties.Unloq draws on the wider Linklogis ecosystem, which FCI said has processed more than US$290bn of supply-chain assets, supported over 430,000 companies and connected more than 3,500 anchor enterprises and financial partners. The group operates across 42 countries. Those figures describe the broader Linklogis platform rather than volumes generated solely by Unloq. Its SC+ digital trade platform supports transaction validation, financing requests, eligibility assessment, funding visibility and settlement tracking, providing a digital workflow connecting buyers, suppliers and financial institutions.FCI membership adds an institutional network to that technology infrastructure. Unloq said it intends to contribute expertise in digital supply chain finance, technology-enabled risk management and cross-border trade corridors while using relationships with FCI members to broaden its international factoring capabilities. For the receivables-finance market, the move illustrates how technology-led supply chain platforms are increasingly seeking integration with established correspondent factoring networks rather than attempting to replace them. #cross-border trade#deep-tier finance#factoring#FCI#international factoring#LinkLogis#Payables finance#receivables finance#supply chain finance#trade finance#Unloq
