Retailers impose 10 per cent ‘Warranty Reserve’


Certain major retail chains in South Africa are implementing a 10 per cent of annual purchases as a warranty reserve , to cover their risks should the supplier be unable to meet its warranty support obligations, according to the Banking Association Debtor Finance Committee.
