Poland’s factors report 8.4 per cent Q1 growth

After a record year in 2022, Poland’s factoring market continues to grow in 2023. In the first three months of this year total factoring volume was 8.4 per cent higher than during the same period in 2022, according to the Polish Factors Association.  Polish factors financed nearly PLN 113.8bn (EUR25bn) of invoices in the January to March period of this year. Although the growth of 8.4 per cent was less than the hoped for double-digit growth as in previous quarters, it was nevertheless very welcome and confirmed the importance of factoring in the Polish economy at a time when it is suffering from the highest inflation for 26 years and the lowest level of consumer optimism.
