Low share price sought for Banca Comerciala Romana’s staff

The Privatisation Authority's (APAPS) commission conducting the privatisation process of Banca Comerciala Romana has asked its legal consultant, Nestor&Nestor, to identify whether an eight per cent package in Banca Comerciala Romana could be sold to the bank's employees at face value, according to, an APAPS source.

"Within a month we intend to complete the second stage of Banca Comerciala Romana's privatisation, which will involve the sale of a share package to Banca Comerciala Romana employees. APAPS, together with Nestor&Nestor and the bank's management, will look into the possibility of selling the shares at face value," the source said.
