HSBC launches this year’s Start-Up Stars Awards to find Britain’s top entrepreneurs


HSBC Bank begins its search for Britain’s top new businesses and the entrepreneurs who run them with the launch of the HSBC Start-Up Stars Awards 2004.

The HSBC Start-Up Stars Awards, presented in conjunction with The Daily Express and Sky News, are open to all businesses less than two years old whose owners can demonstrate they have the skills, inspiration and tenacity to succeed. Now in their fourth year, the Awards are established as one of the most prestigious and highly contested business accolades in the UK.

Ten finalists will share prizes worth Ј65,000, including Ј20,000 for the winner and Ј5,000 for the runner-up. Each finalist will also win consultancy services and software worth Ј4,000 from Croner Consulting and Intuit.
