The future is looking decidedly rosy for the franchising industry according to the latest survey of potential franchisees and franchisors launched today by Bibby Financial Services. The survey found that almost a third (32 per cent) of respondents are planning to invest up to Ј30,000 in a franchise opportunity within the next 12 months. A further 2 per cent are aiming to invest up to Ј50,000 whilst 5 per cent are intending to really push the boat out by spending up to Ј75,000 on the right franchise opportunity.
Budding entrepreneurs looking to gain a foothold in business by becoming a franchisor or franchisee are feeling very upbeat about their future. Nearly four in ten (39 per cent) of potential franchise investors firmly believe that the prospects for the franchise industry will increase over the next 12 months, with 18 per cent stating that the sector will increase significantly.
