FDA’s latest statistics show decrease in export factoring


The FDA’s latest quarterly statistics show a decrease of 2% in export factoring volume and a decrease of 1% in export invoice discounting in 2002 compared with the total volumes for year ended 2001.

However, the annual figures show that on the whole the domestic factoring and invoice discounting is continuing to grow at a healthy rate. Incoive discounting has grown by 22% and factoring by 5% compared with the totals for the year before.
