Deutsche Bank’s historic Chinese trade finance deal aids China’s wind power plans


Deutsche Bank has signed an agreement with Huaneng Tiancheng Financial Leasing Co. Ltd, to help the company launch a three year CNY 187m account receivables financing facility for the leasing of two wind power development projects in China.  Sustainable development has become a key plank of China’s economic strategy, and Deutsche Bank has become very committed to providing comprehensive financial services that support clean energy development. So the deal is significant not only for Huaneng Tiancheng but also for China’s green ambitions and for Deutsche Bank.
