CSOB’s Q1 profit drops


Net profit of CSOB bank branch in Slovakia dropped to Skk 44.7m (€1.15m) in 1Q, a decrease of Skk171m compared to the same period last year, spokeperson of CSOB branch in Slovakia, Marta Krejcarova announced. CSOB group also includes a factoring company and leasing company, abuilding society and an insurance company. CSOB Leasing, which belongs to the strongest players in Slovakia, signed contracts in Q1 of a total volume of Skk1,72 bn. OB Heller Factoring reached turnover of  Skk1,164 bn.  CSOB in the Czech Republic recorded a net profit of Czk4.27bn (€142,900) during first three months of this year. When compared to last year’s profit of Czk1.7bn it represents 169 per cent increase. Total assets rose to almost Czk565 bn. Source:  CTK
