In the first nine months of 2004, BRD – Groupe Sociйtй Gйnйrale recorded a volume of Ђ80m from factoring operations, which represent an increase of 184 per cent compared to 12 months of last year.
From the total amount, Ђ31m represented domestic factoring operations and 49Ђm was recorded as export factoring operations. The bank offers with recourse and without recourse factoring both on domestic and export factoring activity.
BRD - Groupe Societe Generale joined to FCI in October 1993. From October 2004, BRD – Groupe Societe Generale became a full member of Factors Chain International, being the first bank in Romania to achieve this.
