Afreximbank loans BNDE €20m to develop factoring in Senegal


Mrs. Kanayo Awani, Managing Director, Afreximbank intra-African commercial initiative and the Managing Director of BNDE Abdoulaye NIANE signed Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in Dakar an agreement for an amount of €20m or FCFA13.119bn.

A third line of credit will support BNDE as part of its programme dedicated to factoring for SME customers.

BNDE launched factoring in Senegal in 2019. In April 2023, a cumulative turnover of FCFA 16bn has been achieved since the start.
