Fortress Factoring plans expanding in Europe


Vilnius-based Fortress Factoring, a tech startup providing factoring and supply chain finance to SMEs, has announced its plans to expand the local team to increase its client base in Central and Eastern Europe. The new countries that Fortress is looking to expand with local offices over the next few years, are Poland, Czech Rep, and Slovakia. Additionally, the fintech aims to offer new financial services, including leasing.

Launched in 2021 the fintech was searching to link Lithuanian competitive fintech and legal environment and the local talents, with its Taiwanese roots. As Lithuania, one of the Europe’s central hubs for fintech, had very limited Taiwanese financial institutions locally, Waylon Yeh, founder of Fortress Factoring saw this as an attractive business opportunity.
