Renaud Chalmet leads the Corporate Business for Asset-Based Financing across the London, Paris and Milan teams. He joined the securitisation team in 2001 and has since originated and managed a wide range of corporate securitisation transactions, financing assets such as trade receivables, equipment leases, car‑fleet portfolios and insurance‑premium funding.

With over two decades of experience in structured finance, he specialises in complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and off-balance-sheet solutions under both US GAAP and IFRS, including structures involving the partial or full distribution of junior risk. He has also focused on enhancing transaction efficiency through credit insurance, letters of credit and other tailored risk-mitigation mechanisms.
Over the past decade, he has driven significant business growth by expanding market footprint, developing new client segments and deepening strategic relationships across areas such as LBO-related financing and alternative funding platforms.
