^{Michael Harte is the Head of Trade Product (Europe) for Standard Chartered where he has been based in London for 2 and a half years. He has worked in trade finance for over 10 years, largely operating in open account trade. Michael joined Standard Chartered from HSBC where he was a Global Product Manager for Supply Chain Finance before venturing into operational risk and compliance while studying for an LL.M in International Banking Law and Risk. At Standard Chartered he leads a team based in both London and Frankfurt where he is responsible for the growth and digital innovation in tradefFinance. Throughout Michael’s career he has worked with clients across the globe in Asia, LATAM, US and Europe. He takes an avid interest in trade digitalisation and sustainable finance.}
