With more than 40 years of experience in both banking and fintech institutions, he is a senior matter expert in trade and supply chain finance and co-founder of several FinTechs. Markus has also gained significant intercultural experience from over eleven years working abroad in Japan and Italy. He is active in various industry bodies, some of which he has held leading positions in, including the Advisory Board of the ICC Banking Commission, ITFA, BAFT’s Global Trade Industry Council, and the Board of Trustees of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund.
