Luis A. Puch Professor of Economics, Universidad Complutense de Madrid; Research Director, Instituto Complutense de Análisis Económico (ICAE) Luis A. Puch is Professor of Economics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Research Director of the Instituto Complutense de Análisis Económico (ICAE). He holds a PhD in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and has held research and teaching positions at Universidad Carlos III, European Economic Association, Universidad Valencia, Universidad País Vasco/EHU, IMT Lucca, EUI Florence, Universidad Intnal Menéndez Pelayo and Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona. He was a researcher for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, CEPREMAP Paris and FEDEA Madrid and advisor for Secretaría General de Presupuestos Ministerio de Economía y Hacienda, Abengoa, Banco Sabadell, Crea MNN and Metrovacesa. He has published research articles in Journal of Economic Theory, Review of Economic Dynamics, Energy Economics and The BE Journal of Macroeconomics, among other international journals. His most recent research analyses the aggregate consequences of investment and innovation decisions by firms, and the implications of these processes for economic growth, energy use and the environmental concerns.
