Laura Saavedra Cruz Director ING Trade Advisory and Structuring, Supply Chain Finance, ING Bank With 18+ years of experience within the banking sector, Laura started her career with Banco Santander in Spain and moved to ING Bank (the Netherlands) in 2007. At ING she held roles in Finance Management Accounting and Financial Institutions Trade Finance, before moving to the Supply Chain Finance (“SCF”) area. Within SCF, her main focus has been advising multinationals across multiple sectors and geographies on working capital and liquidity improvement opportunities, and structuring of global SCF programs to maximize the relevant program benefits that each client aims to achieve. Also, since 2018 Laura has been acting as ING’s SCF Sustainability lead and has played a pivotal role in the development of ING’s Sustainable SCF product offering. Laura holds a master’s degree in Business Management and Administration from Barcelona University (UB, Spain), and she received a Sustainable Finance Certificate from Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (Cambridge University, UK) in 2024.
