He has invested in and founded a number of startups including R3 (above) and LiquidityEdge LLC, a successful UST treasury broker dealer that was recently sold to MarketAxess. He continues to invest in and support several startups with a primary focus on further development of the Corda ecosystem.}

^{David is recognized for having played a significant role in the adoption of electronic trading in the global OTC derivatives and securities industry. David served for ten years as the CEO of Electronic Broking at ICAP Plc, the world’s largest interdealer broker, where he led the BrokerTec fixed income and EBS foreign exchange platforms. Prior to ICAP, David was co-owner and CEO (Americas) of Prebon Yamane. David is active in a number of charities through his charitable trust—most notably, he is a well member of Charity Water, which pays administration expenses of the charity, so 100% of contributions go to providing clean water to those that need it the most.}
