Ayça Kara leads the UK & Europe Global Trade Payables Financing and Dynamic Discounting product for Citi.

Ayça specialises in the commercialisation of Dynamic Discounting and other innovative product sets within the Payables space such as Sustainable Supplier Finance, Forfaiting, Order Financing, Payable Advance and FX for UK and Europe Cluster.

Payables Finance comprises of Supply Chain Financing (a flagship & market leader product offering), Dynamic Discounting, Open Account Draft Discounting, and various ratified financing across the payables value chain of Citi’s Institutional and Commercial Client Group.

Ayça responsibilities include collaborating with clients and FinTech’s across the global markets to deliver innovative and scalable trade payables solutions, aimed at generating both economic and social impact.

Prior to this role, Ayça headed payables product in Türkiye and has held various roles across Citi’s EMEA headquarters in London.

Ayça has over 17 years of experience in transaction banking with a background in Cash Management, Sales, Trade Services and Financial Institutions.

Ayça holds a Master’s Degree in Management of Information Systems from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering.
