Survey highlights accountants’ views on invoice finance

When recommending an invoice finance supplier, professional advisors’ top three considerations were, in order of importance: to be part of a big financial institution; to be a well-known brand and to have a local presence. This is according to research undertaken by Mori Market Dynamics for The Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services (RBSCS), the invoice finance arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland.

The purpose of this research (involving 150 partner interviews) was to get a better understanding of their perceptions of invoice finance and what they saw as the characteristics of the ideal supplier.

“We discovered that professional advisors wanted a flexible and speedy solution from their invoice finance provider that matched the business needs of their clients,” said Ross McFarlane, managing director UK, RBSCS.
