The Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services (RBS Commercial Services) has successfully received accreditation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW) for its PC based sales ledger administration software, FacFlow. The accreditation comes under the terms of the Institute’s IT accredited product scheme and RBS Commercial Services is the first invoice finance provider to have its client communications system accepted onto the ICAEW’s scheme.
The IT accredited products scheme from the ICAEW has been running for over 10 years and was established in response to members of the institute who were looking for guidance on choosing the most appropriate software package for their particular needs. The suppliers of products have to pass the institute’s criteria for levels of support and stability to meet the requirements of the scheme. In addition, the product has to undergo an independent technical evaluation.
