Companies executing contracts can incur payroll, procurement and operating costs before their customers settle invoices. Bringing buyers, vendors and finance providers into the same workflow can potentially shorten the administrative process between establishing the underlying commercial obligation and releasing finance.Planworth provides both pre-financing and post-financing products, including supply chain finance, purchase order finance and invoice finance. Its existing invoice-finance product can advance eligible businesses up to 80% of invoice value, although Planworth has not disclosed a standard advance rate specifically for transactions originated through the new digital platform. The company has about 1,400 active borrowers, with Bumiputera-owned businesses accounting for approximately 75% of the customer base. It is targeting the addition of around 200 MSMEs a year.Planworth has also allocated RM1bn, approximately US$245m, for financing during 2026. That allocation predates the digital-platform launch and was first announced in April, when the company increased its annual financing programme from RM700m in 2025.Alongside the platform rollout, Planworth entered partnerships with the Bumiputera Travel and Tour Agents Association Malaysia, the Malaysian Employment Agencies Association and CDC International to broaden financing access across their business networks. The new platform therefore extends Planworth’s existing financing operation rather than creating a new RM1bn funding pool, with the principal development being the digital connection of buyers, suppliers and finance providers around the working-capital process. #digital finance#invoice finance#Malaysia#MSME finance#Planworth Global Factoring#purchase order finance#supply chain finance#working capital
