One of the country’s largest financial service providers, Cleveland-based National City Corp., is opening its first corporate banking office in Tennessee.
Services offered will include commercial lending, investment real estate financing, leasing, contractor finance, asset-based lending, international banking and treasury management.
The target market is companies in the US$20m to US$25m revenue range.
The company had been serving most major markets in Tennessee through its Louisville office. But company officials said they were committed to being more involved with the financial future of Tennessee, where NCC currently has a US$500m portfolio.
“To service that client base properly and up to our standards, we felt we needed to have an office here,” said Robert J. Lehman III, Tennessee manager and senior vice president of NCC corporate banking.
