Michigan bank buys Manchester Commercial Finance


Manchester Commercial Finance, an Edina-based financial services provider that specialises in asset-based lending to small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs), has been bought by Crestmark Bank. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes Manchester's regional sales office in Milwaukee, along with a major office in Richmond, Va., and sales offices in Denver and Kansas City, Kan.

Crestmark is a Troy, Mich.-based commercial bank specialising in non-traditional working capital financial services with offices in Grand Rapids and Lansing, Mich.; Chicago; Kansas City, Mo.; and Washington, D.C.
