HPD Restructures As Part of Long Term Internet Strategy

HPD Software, providers of secured asset finance solutions and services, has announced that as part of its long-term growth strategy, it is forming separate companies to focus on delivering internet business solutions and services to its customers worldwide.

The first wholly owned operating company to be formed is HPD Service Centre, a one-stop shop to deliver I-Factor - HPD’s core factoring software application- under an ASP (Application Service Provider) agreement. HPD Service Centre is focused on delivering high value, customer specific, secure and reliable secured asset financing solutions.

An ASP service provider hosts its own or other vendors’ software in a secured data centre, enabling its customers to operate the system in question via the internet or a private network. It is effectively a means of outsourcing the hardware of an IT system, which may reduce investment in hardware and associated human resources costs.
