Delegates from over 25 British factoring companies attended Grant Thornton’s fourth invoice discounting, factoring and asset-based lending conference on 25 September 2002 at the Oxford Belfry in Oxfordshire. The one-day conference covered a number of issues important to the factoring and receivables finance industry in the UK.
Grant Thornton’s, Tony Flynn, Director, London Recovery and Reorganisation department and Mark Byers, Partner and Head of Recovery and Reorganisation opened the conference.
Dominic Swords, an economist and member of the International Business and Strategy Faculty of Henley Management College gave the first presentation of the day. He discussed current economic prospects and business growth for the industry.
