France joins ‘'MLETR club' by adopting 'Titre Transférable Électronique’


The National Assembly has passed a law, which recognises common electronic transferable documents, such as bills of lading in matters of international trade. This amendment impacts various codes such as commerce, monetary, financial, insurance, and transport under Article 6 Title II, thereby incorporating the UNCITRAL MLETR into legislative framework.
