Digital factoring - SMEs solution at Factofrance and BNP Paribas Factor

The second wave of the epidemic is here and that of the economic crisis should not be long either: it will indeed be time to pay the staggered charges, to start repaying the PGE, etc. In this context, factoring can be an interesting solution to maintain your cash flow.

In the first half of 2020, factoring companies experienced a historic decline of -10.2% in France (according to the French Association of Financial Companies - ASF). This is the biggest contraction in factoring activity for thirty years! It was especially in the spring that activity collapsed (-23%), after a slow first quarter of 2020 (+ 3.8%).

For Sarah Roussel, CEO of BNP Paribas Factor, this decline is testimony to the strong link that exists between factoring and business activity: "Factoring finances the real economy. As businesses have slowed down their activity, this was felt with respect to our operationsā€, she said.
