A.B.S. Global Factoring turns to efcom software for European growth

A.B.S. Global Factoring has signed a software licence agreement with efcom as the German receivables finance provider looks to scale operations and expand its digital infrastructure across Europe.

The agreement covers efcom’s ef3 platform and efOnline system, which A.B.S. will use to support factoring operations, customer onboarding and digital servicing across multiple jurisdictions.

A.B.S. operates across Germany, Switzerland, Poland and the Netherlands, positioning itself as an independent financing partner for SMEs seeking working capital and receivables finance solutions.

The move comes as demand for flexible financing continues to rise among smaller businesses facing higher operating costs, supply chain disruption and slower payment cycles.

Thorsten Klindworth, founder and chief executive of A.B.S., said SMEs were facing “rising costs, geopolitical tensions, and volatile markets”, increasing the need for adaptable financing structures. He said the new platform would help the company scale processes while offering customers faster and more tailored services.

The ef3 platform is designed to support receivables finance providers handling growing transaction volumes across different markets and client types. The system includes workflow automation, online customer access and portfolio management tools.

efcom chief executive Arnulf Romann said the agreement would help A.B.S. manage international factoring operations more efficiently while maintaining flexibility for SME-focused financing.

The development reflects wider investment across the receivables finance sector as providers seek to improve operational efficiency and digital processing capabilities while handling growing demand for working capital solutions.
