All remain at an early stage, and the company cautioned that there is no assurance any proposal will become binding or result in a transaction. The identities of the prospective buyers and the values attached to their offers were not disclosed. Butn’s board is assessing the proposals individually and has made no binding decision.Separately, the company has signed an extension of its agreement with MYOB Australia until 15 November 2027. The arrangement, originally established in June 2024, allows businesses using MYOB software to access invoice finance through the integrated MYOB|Butn product. That distribution relationship is commercially important because it embeds receivables financing directly into an accounting workflow. Eligible businesses can seek liquidity against invoices without having to move through a wholly separate financing platform. For Butn, retaining access to that customer channel provides continuity while its ownership and capital arrangements remain uncertain. For businesses relying on the product, the extension supports continued availability, although it does not independently guarantee future lending capacity. The third element concerns Northleaf Capital Partners. Butn confirmed that discussions are under way to amend a financing facility entered into on 1 July 2025.The proposed changes have not been agreed, and the company has not disclosed their financial terms, revised capacity, pricing or timetable. The distinction between a confirmed commercial contract and unresolved funding negotiations is central to the announcement. MYOB’s agreement has been extended, but neither the potential sale of the business nor the Northleaf facility amendment has been completed.Together, the disclosures highlight the connection between distribution, institutional funding and ownership in embedded invoice finance. A lending platform may retain a valuable route to customers even as investors and lenders consider changes to its underlying capital structure. #acquisitions#Australia#Butn#embedded finance#invoice finance#MYOB#Northleaf Capital Partners#receivables finance#sme finance
