^{Sereen Ahmed has been working in the banking sector since 2002, she has started her career with HSBC Bank and then moved to Barclays Bank UAE in 2012. Her current role is Director, Head of Trade and Working Capital Middle East and she is also the Head of MENA Diversity and Inclusion. She has received her MBA in International Business and Finance from Ashley University, USA.}

^{In her current role she is responsible to develop and implement a focused trade finance origination strategy for the ME franchise. Working with her local and global team to maximise and grow the revenue of the Trade finance and build a strategy that fits with the local market requirements as well as the bank policy.}

^{She is very passionate to create an inclusive culture within Barclays MENA by supporting and encouraging Barclays staff to take part in the D&I activities that are led by her. She is supporting the activities of WiN and working with HR business partner to develop and help talented females to reach their goals and ambitions.}
