Rasheed Hinnawi Trade Asset Distribution, HSBC; Chairman, ITFA Middle East Rasheed relocated with HSBC from London to Dubai in 2019 to set up a portfolio management and distribution hub in MENA and Turkey (MENAT) for the region’s Global Trade and Receivables Finance business. His primary responsibilities include effective management of the MENAT Trade Finance book and enabling healthy growth through primary and secondary distribution to a diverse investor base. He has over 15 years of international banking experience with an extensive MENA focus. Prior to HSBC, Rasheed was the Head of Financial Institutions, Trade and MENA Corporates at Europe Arab Bank. He was appointed chair of ITFA’s Middle East Regional Committee in 2024. He holds an MSc in International Banking and Finance and is a Certified Trade Finance Specialist.
