Oliver Petersen

Managing Director, ING Bank

Oliver Petersen is a senior banker with 24 years of experience in structuring both long and short term financial transactions for corporates – listed, privately or PE-owned – as well as project finance across the globe. For the last 14 years his focus has been on helping clients to optimize their working capital and cash flows. He has grown the trade franchise within ING through establishing strong partnerships with peer banks and FinTechs with the aim to get the best solutions to our customers.  In addition to growing the client base, he has pushed for the expansion of the geographic scope serviced by the various trade solutions – to better align with the real trade corridors – as well as through product innovation. 

Oliver has held the roles of Global Head of Trade Advisory & Structuring and Global Head of Supply Chain Finance. Before this, he was a Director within ING’s TMT sector team.
