Michael HarteHead, Receivables Finance & Head, Open Account, Lloyds Corporate and InstitutionalMichael Harte is Head of Receivables Finance and Head of Open Account within Transaction Banking Products at Lloyds Banking Group. He is responsible for the strategy, governance, risk oversight and commercial performance of the bank’s receivables finance, supply chain finance and open account trade solutions, supporting corporate clients across the UK and international markets. Michael has more than 20 years of experience in transaction banking and trade finance. Prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group, he held a number of senior product leadership roles, including Global Head of Receivables Products and Head of Trade Product for Europe at Standard Chartered. Throughout his career he has worked extensively with multinational corporates, financial institutions and investors across Europe and Asia, leading the development of innovative working capital, receivables and trade finance solutions. Today, Michael is focused on helping clients optimise liquidity, strengthen supply chains and access funding through a broad range of traditional and alternative working capital structures. He is particularly interested in the evolving intersection of bank-led finance, private credit, technology-enabled funding, digital assets and emerging trade finance models.
