SME and Supply Chain Finance Specialist, IFC

_{Martin Hommes is an SME and Supply Chain Finance Specialist at IFC’s Financial Institutions Group (FIG). He joined IFC in 2009 and is now working primarily in the Latin American & Caribbean region helping banks to improve their banking services to SMEs. Martin has more than 13 years of experience in Banking consulting and working with private sector development initiatives in Emerging Markets. Prior to joining IFC, Martin held various positions in the private and public financial sector including working for Citigroup Global Markets in Latin American capital markets, at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and as a Senior Financial Officer at Marco Polo Network, a financial technology firm. Martin is currently one of the global champions for the Supply Chain Finance SME Practice Group in FIG’s Advisory Services. Martin holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a MPA / International Development from Harvard Kennedy School.}
