Marcel Burtscher is a seasoned leader in financial services with over 20 years of experience in risk management, finance, treasury, funding, capital management, investor relations, and corporate banking.

Currently serving as an Executive Board Member at Raiffeisen Factor Bank in Vienna, Marcel oversees finance, risk management, operations, IT, legal, and compliance. Raiffeisen Factor Bank provides receivable- and payable finance solutions for Corporates and SMEs across the DACH region.

Previously, Marcel was the Leader of Group Corporate Balance Sheet Management & Financial Steering at Raiffeisen Bank International, where he enhanced financial steering and -performance of Corporate Banking across 13 countries.

As the Head of Treasury and Managing Director at Raiffeisenbank Russia, he transformed liquidity-, funding-, interest rate risk-, and capital management.

Marcel’s expertise extends to strategy development as well as management of change and innovation. He holds a Global Executive MBA from the top-ranked TRIUM program (LSE, NYU Stern, and HEC Paris) as well as degrees from University of Vienna, Technical University of Vienna and is a certified FRM.
