Jamal Saleh Jamal Saleh, Director General, UAE Banking Federation Jamal Saleh has spent 29 years in conventional and Islamic banking in Asset Management, Credit, and Enterprise Risk Management, credit, market, operational, liquidity, and IT risks. His first 10 years were in the USA in Private Banking and Credit and the last nineteen have been in the UAE in Corporate Banking, Credit, and Risk Management with three leading UAE banks. He served as PRMIA’s UAE Director General for 7 years (2007-2014) and was concurrently a Member on British University’s Advisory Board. In January 2019, he was announced as the UAE Banking Federation’s new Director General. Mr Saleh graduated summa cum laude from New Jersey (USA) in Finance and Banking, and holds 6 professional certifications in credit, finance, investment, and risk management. He has appeared frequently on local and international business TV channels and in newspapers, and a keynote speaker at a large number of regional and international forums in the UAE, MENA, Singapore, Europe, USA.
