^{Gary founded, built, and leads the global distribution desk which places bespoke synthetic hedges of the structured loan and credit book into the insurance market in order to mitigate credit risk, improve return on equity, and optimise capital usage. He began his banking career in 2005 and has had experience of M&A, Project Finance, and Corporate Finance Portfolio Management, before establishing the credit insurance desk in 2012. He is regularly invited to speak at industry conferences globally to share and discuss his subject expertise. He is a fine wine enthusiast and collector; has a passion for Chelsea FC; enjoys skiing and travel; and lives in Wimbledon with his wife and two sons. He holds MA and BA (Hons) degrees in Classics from Robinson College Cambridge.}
