^{Emmanuel Marchal has over 20 years of experience in bringing high technology companies to market and growing them globally. He is Managing Director at ConsenSys, the largest and fastest growing blockchain company focused on building the Ethereum ecosystem where he leads energy, commodity and trade finance initiatives. Previously, he held executive, sales and delivery management roles at big data and artificial intelligence companies which are now part of Apple, bet365 and TimeOut. Before that, he ran the IT security services and cryptography practices at global services organisations Atos and Schlumberger. He is a recognized leader in the database market and is the founder of one of the largest big data communities in Europe with over 4000 members. He is a non-exec board member of a number of artificial intelligence and Oil&Gas companies and regularly mentos startups. Emmanuel started his career in the Oil and Gas industry and holds a M.Sc. in General Engineering and Robotics from the Ecole Centrale Paris, France.}
