He started as an investment analyst and soon became a top fund manager, developed Dividend Analysis to assesses the cash flow generation ability of quoted securities, helped to establish the USM – now AIM securities market, built Micropal Fund Management Services from an idea into 15 offices around the world and then sold it to Standard & Poors in 1997, Chaired the Round Table on the Future of Hong Kong in 1997 in HK and London, spent 3 years as adviser to Chinese Government on developing their fund industry and in 2010 established Doing Business Together as a Not-for-profit organisation to help SMEs manage their own businesses better and obtain the finance and credit they require by ensuring that the relationship between SMEs and their finance and trade credit providers, is one of profitable partnership through a shared commitment to the principles of honesty and transparency.
