Chief Product Officer, Global Trade Solutions, HSBC

Bhrigu joined HSBC in 2002 and is Chief Product Officer for the bank’s Global Trade Solutions business. He was previously Head of Trade Transformation – a strategic program for HSBC that seeks to transform and digitize trade finance in order to deliver better experiences for clients and colleagues. Prior to this he was responsible for Product Management for HSBC’s Documentary Trade products globally and before that he was responsible for Product Management of HSBC’s Trade and Receivables Finance products in the Asia Pacific region.

 

Bhrigu started his career in India in 1991 and has worked in the HSBC Group, ANZ Grindlays and Standard Chartered Bank in a variety of roles spanning transaction banking, client coverage and investment banking.
