Ahmed Shaheen

CEO, Egypt Factors

Mr. Shaheen is the Chief Executive Officer of Egypt Factors; the pioneering factoring company in Egypt (winner of the FCI Award: Best Import and Export Factor Africa and MENA Region 2021).

Shaheen has joined Egypt Factors starting 2007, before that he worked as a Corporate Credit Director and member of the Credit Committee at The Commercial International Bank of Egypt – CIB (a former affiliate of Chase bank USA – currently known as JPMorgan Chase). He has 30+ years of combined corporate banking, factoring and SCF experience.

Shaheen is the former chairman of the Egyptian Credit & Risk Association (ECRA), a pioneer association in Egypt for credit and risk professionals from the banking and NBFI sectors.

He is also a current member of the BOD of the Egyptian Factoring Federation and a former member of the Factoring and Leasing Advisory Committee to the chairman of the Egyptian Financial Authority (FRA).

Shaheen is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute of the United States. The CFA charter is the premier professional designation in the field of investment, portfolio management and corporate finance worldwide.
