Investment Director and Head of Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance, British International Investment; Board Member, CIFC Egypt

Admir Imami has over 25 plus years of experience in finance, of which most of it has been in building and or managing a book of business related to Trade Finance as an alternative investment class. He recently built and managed British International Investments (BII)’s Trade and Supply Chain Finance business with commitment of over $2bn and a focus in Africa and South Asia. Since the launch of the business, BII has supported over $2bn in trade. Admir also has an entrepreneur spirit. He co-founded Advance Global Capital (AGC), investors in trade receivables, and he is founder of Zvilo, a provider of trade working capital for corporates and sits on the board of CICF, a CIB factoring business in Egypt. Admir holds a BSc. Degree from Brooklyn College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is fluent in three languages. Admir is a father of two and has a diverse background having lived, worked, and transacted business across the globe, with a focus in the emerging markets, such as Africa, South Asia, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and LATAM.
