Uruguay's Nuevo Banco Comercial (NBC) and its Brazilian subsidiary Banco Comercial Uruguai have joined the IFC's global trade finance program as issuing banks.

Urguayan bank Banco Acac has joined forces with French insurer Coface to provide export financing with credit insurance, local daily El Pais reported.

The Coface group could not give more information or comment on the partnership.
