AEF published its annual figures for 2012 The Spanish Factoring Association (AEF), presented last week the results of its members for 2012: with total receivables finance turnover of EUR124 billion the market remained almost flat (+0.49pc year-on-year). Factoring contracted by almost 2.58pc year-on-year, with the volume of advances failing to exceed EUR62.7 billion. Domestic factoring volume went down by 2.42pc (EUR50.1 billion), while international fell by 3.2pc (EUR12.62 billion).
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Spanish commercial bank Bankinter signed SME and midcap financing agreement. EUR 200 million will be allocated to finance innovation projects.

The president of the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives in the Region of Murcia (FECOAM), Santiago Martinez Gabaldon, and territorial executive director of La Caixa in Levante and Murcia, Bibiano Martinez on Thursday signed a collaboration agreement that will allow cooperatives, members of FECOAM, to access the Bank's products at the preferential terms.
