SZRB reports H1 profit before taxes

The Slovak Guarantee and Development Bank (SZRB) made a profit before tax of SKK 276.09 million (Ђ6.93m) in the first half of this year, compared with SKK 200.93 million (Ђ5.04m) it reported for the same period of 2003.

Average interest rate of bank loans falls

The average interest rate of bank loans drawn down in June fell by 0.23 per centage points, compared to May, to 8.54 per cent. The average interest rate of drawn loans by the corporate sector fell by 0.30 percentage points to 8.21 per cent.
