NYSE Euronext unveils proposed Pan-European Project for SMEs

Following the recommendations of its Strategic Planning Committee for SMEs, NYSE Euronext (NYX) has announced plans to launch a pan-European exchange especially for small and medium-sized companies, developed in consultation with all of the Group's European markets.

Companies eye impact of new bank regulations on trade finance costs

In a 2012 European Trade Finance Study, conducted by Greenwich Associates, 80 per cent of the 300 financial officers from the large European companies surveyed and nine out of 10 from companies in the FT 500 expect pricing on trade finance products and services to increase as a result of the implementation of Basel III.
