The WTW Research Network (WTW) has released its Risk & Resilience Review: Emerging Risks from Geopolitical Shifts, which brings together insights from our team & expertise from our partners to examine emerging and interconnected geopolitical risks.
With the conflict in Ukraine and Israel/Gaza, as well as regional crises in North Africa and political unrest in Latin America, risk management has complex geopolitical dynamics to navigate. Many of these events – as well as the physical risks described in WTW recent Nat Cat Review – have highlighted emerging resilience gaps with new and familiar risks competing for organisational resources.
Supporting the WTW smarter way to risk, the report aims to provide context around ongoing geopolitical events, explore impacts on areas such as supply chain, critical national infrastructure and resource competition and look at managing emerging risks to enhance competitiveness and resilience.
