Unicredit-Confindustria agreement fund allocation begins


On Monday the fund allocation for the innovations set by the UniCredit-Confindustria agreement will begin.

The operative agreement worth Ђ1bn signed last month between the two companies to support investments in research and innovation of SMEs will begin its operative phase.

On 11 April the allocation of funds will begin, and it will conclude in the end of 2005. The agreement will allow enterprises associated to Confindustria and its territorial system to quickly obtain, without long formalities, medium- and long-term credit without specific guarantees to support innovation and research projects.

The investments, Ђ500,000 at most, can be invested in plants and equipment used in research activities, to cover funds for feasibility studies, external consultancies, project-making and staff employment in research and innovation projects.
