The EBZ in conjunction with the International Trade Centre (ITC) of Geneva, Switzerland, has just published a handbook titled Trade Secrets, the export answer book for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The handbook, which provides answers to the most commonly asked international trade questions, is customised to suit the needs of exporting enterprises in Zambia.
The handbook covers export-related issues such as market research, marketing export products; market entry methods, agents and distribution, trade shows, foreign trade regulations, quality standards, export financing, pricing, transportation, packaging and labelling, trade agreements and export regulations.
Others are overviews of WTO trade agreements, contact information on country's trade support organisations, and also includes a list of useful address of organisations dealing with export issues, and also selected Internet resources relevant to SMEs.
